"Dear Colleague,
I would like to announce an important change of leadership in the Nordic Region. With immediate effect, I am pleased to announce John Walsh is appointed as President & Chief Operating Officer for the region, reporting to me. He succeeds Carsten Lind, who is leaving the business.
John has been with CSC for 11 years, and brings with him a wealth of relevant, global experience and leadership capability, that makes him ideal for this important role. He was most recently responsible for delivering a very large and complex US government program; prior to that he led CSC's outsourcing business across Asia, and held global leadership roles in some of our largest global accounts in Germany and Switzerland. Prior to joining CSC, John held a broad range of senior technology roles within the US Government.
I am very pleased that John has accepted this role. Our Nordic business will face many challenges in the months ahead but I am sure that under John's leadership, and with the full support of CSC's global Corporation behind us, we can meet them to build a strong and successful business for our clients, our shareholders and our people.
John will be relocating his family to Copenhagen and looks forward to meeting many of you in the days and weeks to come. Please join with me in congratulating him on his new role and in wishing him every success.
