Connecte i Win.XP med ISS, hvordan?

ISS = IIS! you will need permissions (read/write) on the folder.

NTFS permissions can be seen by right clicking on the file or folder an dthen selecting permissions. To work with IIS permission IIS must be installed, is it?

if IIS IS installed you can open the IIS Console by pressing Start then Run and then entering inetmgr and pressing return. Then in the right (detail) window right-click your directory or file to want to set IIS permissions for. Then select properties. Now you can see the IIS permissions for the folder/file.

Ok, det har jeg fundet. Hvad er det så der skal ændres for at man kan bruge access-databaser.

har haft windows me hvor det hele kørte fint, det er efter jeg bruger iis og ikke personal web server.

If I try opening an ASP page on XP it says that it doesnt know what program to use to open it, this is more than likely where the problem is!

Something MUST be on the PC which can run the ASP script! I must admit that I am not sure what, I though it was Frontpage extensions but I have then installed, any ideas?

jeg kan godt køre asp-sider, bare ikke når der skal connectes til en database..

Well there MUST be something on the server (XP) which can read your database. You will be using ADO I suspect, so MDAC will be needed, but if you have Access on your PC then I WOULD have thought that it existed.
