200 points: Hjælp til at connecte iPAQ til PC

Hejsa. Jeg har også skrevet dette på en engelsk forum, så der er ikke grund til at oversætte til dansk, vel?

Her er mit problem:

I'd just got my iPAQ earlier today, and now i want to sync it with my PC - Windows XP Pro - and try so install some new programs.

I have downloaded Microsoft Activesync 3.4 (the CD in my box was missing). I installed, and connected the everything.

Now, when I try to sync, the PC is "pining" to look for the iPAQ. It says "Looking for mobile devices..." On the iPAQ i get these messages:

Status: connecting to host
Status: connecting to host, retry 1
Status: connecting to host, retry 2
Status: connecting to host, retry 3
Status: connecting to host, retry 4

- then it goes back to "Today"

The PC says "Your device was not detected"
