Copies of the DB with surfix 1 and 11 etc. Why do they apear

Hapy new year.
Danish wil do just as fine.

My DB is Access 2000 format (mainly running from accessXP). It has begun to copy itself as mentioned in the subject field. How come? Is it because of the fact that I on some machiens has changed the option, advanced, default open mode to exclusive. And wich of these files are the newest? The original or the copies. It worries my that all of sudden there are several files!

Hope U know about this issue.

TIA
Mads

Not quite sure what you mean maqerlin. Access databases have a suffix of MDB/MDE or ADP/ADE if they get another suffix then I dont think you will be able to open them with Access. Can you explain some more please?

Are you on a Windows or a Novell platform?
(We've seen Novell play those tricks)

yes ofcause, sorry for the unapropriate way of putting it. (Windows platform)
The (god knows how, made) copies of the DB are named CCDB1.mdb CCDB11.mdb (the name I gave it is CCDB.mdb). I have an ide that it can be something with an error I receive: Table 'TempMSysAccessObject' already exists. I also think that I have solved it, simply by renaming CCDB11.mdb to CCDB.mdb. but I'm not sure. It might also be because of the fact that I have been working through Citrix server. I have heard that it can cause quite a lot of problems. I dont do that any more.

I've never  come across this error before, but a solution in future may be to import all objects into a new database.
