Hvis du har et program ved navn “Virtual maid” installeret, som ikke skal fjernes, SKAL DU IKKE følge nedenstående. Men eller så er det bare i gang.

(1)
Deaktiver systemgendannelse, ved at Højreklikke på "Denne Computer" på skrivebordet -> egenskaber -> Systemgendannelse -> sæt flueben i "Deaktiver systemgendannelse" -> Klik OK.

(2)
Genstart computeren i fejlsikret tilstand (tryk F8 når Windows starter op), og fix følgende linjer med HijackThis:

Åbn en tilfældig mappe, i menuen klik på Funktioner -> Mappeindstillinger -> Vis.
Fjern flueben ved "Skjul beskyttede operativsystemfiler".
Fjern flueben ved "Skjul filtypenavne for kendte filtyper".
Sæt prik i "Vis skjulte filer og mapper".

søg efter og slet følgende filer:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\msmsgs.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\LgNotify.dll
... og følgende mapper:
C:\PROGRA~1\VIRTUA~1\

Start -> programmer -> tilbehør -> systemværktøjer -> diskoprydning -> Slet Temporary internet files, papirkurv og midlertidige filer.

Genstart computeren normalt. Lav en ny log med HijackThis, og send den herind.

(6)
Når vi er helt færdige, så husk at aktiver systemgendannelse igen.

Det lykkedes ikke helt...
Jeg kunne ikke slette filen: LgNotify.dll - den sagde blot at filen var i brug og jeg prøvede alt muligt...

Det meste er fjernet, men der mangler stadig lidt. Vi prøver en ny fremgangsmåde.
(1)
Deaktiver systemgendannelse, ved at Højreklikke på "Denne Computer" på skrivebordet -> egenskaber -> Systemgendannelse -> sæt flueben i "Deaktiver systemgendannelse" -> Klik OK.

Fjern flueben ved "Skjul beskyttede operativsystemfiler".
Fjern flueben ved "Skjul filtypenavne for kendte filtyper".
Sæt prik i "Vis skjulte filer og mapper".

søg efter og slet følgende filer:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\hp606D.tmp
... og følgende mapper:
C:\PROGRA~1\VIRTUA~1\

(Det er vigtigt at du får slettet mappen og alle dens filer)

Start -> programmer -> tilbehør -> systemværktøjer -> diskoprydning -> Slet Temporary internet files, papirkurv og midlertidige filer.

Kør scanneren mwav.exe, og sæt flueben i følgende:
Memory, Startup folders, drive, Registry, System folders og Services.
Sæt prik i følgende: All local drives og Scan all files.
Tryk på Scan Clean
Scanningen kan godt tage et par timer.

Genstart computeren normalt.

Hent http://www.spywarefri.dk/vaerktoj.htm#spybot (Spybot).
Start programmet, opdater og scan. Slet linjerne med rød tekst.

Genstart computeren.
Lav en ny log med HijackThis, og send den herind.
