I would like that. The database is not finished yet. In the end there should be a form for entering data one(the problem one) for searching. And it should be executeble. What should I send to you? The db file?
>Terry Another amputated question! I know that you already cashed the points and that you\'re a nice guy just trying to speed up the process, but it would be more fair to the users of Eksperten that you (and others) publish your solutions here. Don\'t take this the wrong way: Eksperten should be a place to share knowledge - not mail addresses. And again: this is not criticism (since you\'re doing a great job for the users of Eksperten) - just a hint to improve the overall value of Eksperten.
Subform2.Requery
The solution was only to make suggestions as to how I would alter theh program. As it happens lindsom has a little design problem he needs to look at first. So the points were NOT for giving a solution, but for using my time in giving advice, and also in offering to help him out when he gets his design right! So how would you like to see it? If the solution entails only a limited amount of code then Ii have no problem at all sharing this with others, but I dont intend sending a database to all and sundry...
Terry. I was NOT attacking your procedure. I was trying to make a comment on the large number of questions ending up with: \"Send you base to me\".
It must be annoying to some of the users of Eksperten to see a question about a subject that they themselves have been working on - and not getting the answer. That was what I was trying to say - after my nice words about you :o)
In this case lindsome wanted to connect two subform. This might be a problem to many users. How do they benefit from our comments? The solution is still unknown.
fdata> thanks for the nice words, hope my answer didnt sound so harsh? I can understand what your saying, but quite often when people have problems, one can use so much time trying to get a full picture of the problem and I can save myself and those with the problem loads of time, if they send me the database. With that its far easier to understand and locate their problem.
Yes I agree that the answer to lindsomes question is unknow, even I dont know the answer, as I mentioned he didnt get one!
I can also understand peoples frustration if they have been working on a solution, but that could have happened if others came up with a solution before themselves. Its a hard world we\'re living in. But I take the point and will think (if not just a little) about it!
