FCS: How do I direct my IP address out of house?
Hello.I've set up Flash COmmunication Server (FCS) in my office on a Windows 2000 OS. We have one IP address designating our office's internet connection (which a very bright person told me I could find on www.minip.dk). It is something like 80.63.112.26. Inside on the LAN we are all divided up into dynamic ip addresses. Running ipconfig i can see I am 192.168.1.26. where my partners is 192.168.1.7.
In the fla file, i make an rtmp call to the 192.168.1.26 ip address to my FCS app, upload the swf to my webserver (hosted by b-one) and my partner and i can see each other through the app on explorer. However, if we leave the building and try from home we get nothing. How can I set up my server to get out of this building, so that the rest of the world can find enjoyment in our newly created apps?
Svar på dansk er fint.
