I belive it is a rightclick on your SQL server and click Properties, and chose \"Memory\" set the Maximum to what you desire:-))

Def, thank you for your info, but I can not use it unless you are sure about what you are saying, Beleafe is not part of a solution, facts and documentation referance is what I am looking for.
Maybe you or somebody else can point where in the docs online, which I do not have here, so I have to call somebody and guide.
Please do not update this case with info that is not directed to a solution. Thank you.

You can do it with pure SQL.

USE master
GO
ALTER DATABASE Test1
MODIFY FILE
  (NAME = test1dat3,
  SIZE = 20MB)
GO

Read. http://www.idera.com/support/documentation/MS1_Alter_Database.htm

excuse me!!! Are you not trying to restrict the server use of your RAM recourses ???

Then the proposed solution is the correct one, if you desire more reading about the subject, you can use SQL own help function, try typing \"Memory\" in the index, you will luckily find not less than 20 topic. Do you self a favor and try it out.

Don\'t patronize helpful user on this forum, please;-)

Thank you for the entry Oswald, I see you have some potential of being a good supporter, one should avoid updating with info that is not requested, or creating entries with suggestions made out of guessing as Def provides. This is IT related issues, and all info should always be provided with 100% assurance. I can not research myself due to the fact that I do not have browser where I am, and I am guiding a person who lacks qualifications on sql though has to assist now.
Please do not take this as a critic, just learn out of your mistakes, and strive to be a better supporter, otherwise do not bother taken cases here, it makes it too unserious.
Thanks.

Your ego is joke, I\'m not going to waist one more minute on completely amateur, hoe can\'t figure out that pressing F1 might give you the possible to browse for the necessary help.

Canudo, Sorry to say I can\'t help in this issue.
Rest, Please read Carnudo\'s last update since this seems relevant.
I will start by saying that it is against my principles to make an update like this, but in this case I will make an exemption. I use this site as a knowledge database and sometimes it seems rater frustrating, when you have to go through a lot of non useable updates. Please don’t take this personal, since this is not directly pointed against the updates you have posted, since I don’t know anything about this subject I will not judge if this is useful information, however I will send this pray out to you all saying please don’t update just in order to get some fast points, do it to help other in who are in the need of the information that you posses.

I agree with def, especially about the ‘Tøjbamse’. www.eksperten.dk is a site for programmes helping each other out, not a site for cold and hard facts.
I agree that if you have a problem, I might be frustrating to get answers you cant use, but that dos not change the fact that nobody gets paid for the they give help, and that we therefore need to be thankful for what ever help we can get.

def:> Hvis du havde færre points end mig ville jeg give dig halvdelen af de 60 points jeg fik  (Year right), for du havde faktisk også ret. ;-)

Oswald, I see, in other words this is only a game for you too. Secondly I think you should stop hanging on the fact that is way of support is free, answer should still be as profesional as possible. Dont you see the seriosity of this Forum is build out from well documented issues which can be used in other cases. Your behaviour doesnt really apply for a forum like this, insults of just by making fun, givin names and stuff is childish. I wonder how you can not see that. Anyway, I thank you for any participation you had in this case, as long as it helped the solution, which is what you should aim to, not just points.
Nb, privat msgs in your native language should not be included in other peoples updates. Keep your issues technical and behold your interrelations with friends elsewhere.

carnudo-> Why don\'t you go somewhere where they care. That would be somewhere where you pay for their services (I\'m sure microsoft will be glad to help you if you have the right amount of cash). About the language: Maybe you should learn the official language here and stop asking questions in you own native language!!!!!!

1.    If you by game mean that I’m doing it for fun, then yes, it’s just a game for me.
2.    Look around you. Doesn’t something strike you as odd? Everybody speaking Danish on a site named www.eksperten.DK. People using smiles and joking, when they should be dead serious. Maybe you are on the wrong site.
3.    Tøjbamse isn’t a bad name (I basically means “teddy bear”). I could think of fare worse names, like ‘winerbrød’, ‘skumslukker’ and ‘brandhane’.

In other words: If you want good advise and a smile on your face goto www.eksperten.dk, if you want professionalism, go somewhere else.

Its HOT out there!

Just thought I\'de get a word in too...

carnuda> A simple re-phrasing  of defs answer would have avoided all this fuss

Rightclick on your SQL server and click Properties, and choose \"Memory\" set the Maximum to what you desire:-))

No need to get your nickers in a twist just because def used \"I believe\".

Terry
PS Have a great day out there!!!
