formmail paa webside

er der nogen der kan hjaelpe mig da jeg er helt 'lost'. Min host har liggende formmail paa denne addresse: www.domaine.co.uk/cgi-bin/form/iopost.pl (de har aendret navnet paa formmail.pl af sikkerhedsaarsager)

Jeg har designet en simpel html side med en form som jeg gerne vil have til at virke?

Naar man trykker paa Send skal den sendes til min email addresse info@domaine.co.uk og saa videres sendes til en side som kommer til at ligge paa www.domaine.co.uk/thankyou.html

de eneste 2 felter der skal udfyldes er
Name og email address.

Er der nogen der kan aendre i min html kode saa det kommer til at virke og fortaelle om (og hvad) jeg ellers skal aendre i iopost.pl?
jeg kan ligge den op ogsaa hvis i vil se den. Men det er version 1.92 af Matt Script.

du skal tilføje disse felter i formen:

og så skal form-tagget se spdan her ud:

det har jeg aendret nu. Men faar en fejlmeddelse.
Skal jeg gaa ind i iopost.pl og skrive 'domaine.co.uk' i @referers?
Jeg har aendret det i en downloaded text file og naar jeg saa loader den tilbage i cgi-bin giver den mig en fejkode at jeg ikke kan 'create' den fil? er det min udbyder som ikke vil lade mig rode i den? men hvis jeg ikke maa rode i den kan jeg ikke tilfoeje domainet hvis jeg gerne vil have emailen til at gaa til en anden addresse?

ogsaa hvordan faar jeg name og email address til at vaere 'required' og de andre felter bare optional?
kan maa faa en eventuelt fejlmeddelse til at komme paa samme side som formmailen ligger hvor der kommer en linie der siger du har ikke udfyldt email addresse?

Du kan ikke bruge html-kode direkte i cgi filen... Du skal have din html kode i et html/php/asp dokument, som du kører et andet sted fra (ikke cgi mappen).

Jeg tror ikke du kan rode i cgi mappen, hvis det ikke er din egen server! Men det er heller ikke nødvendigt at ændre noget som helst i cgi filen. Den håndterer de variabler, den modtager fra html siden.

Det med at du vil have en fejl, hvis ikke man har skrevet et eller andet, kan vi fikse med asp, eller php. Hvilket sprog vil du have det i, og hvilket sprog understøter dit webhotel. Hvis du er i tvivl om dette kan du lave en tekstfil hvor der bare står:

print("hejsa");
?>

og kalde den hej.php, uploade den og checke den...

<%
Response.Write("hejsa")
%>

og kalde den hej.asp, uploade den og checke den...

...så tager vi det derfra :)

Tusinde tak for alt din hjaelp... du skal selvfoelgelig nok faa alle pointene. Og god jul....

Men jeg kan stadig ikke faa det til at virke saa her er de rigtige filer og koordinater osv.
Min formmail ligger paa http://www.thedoughco.com/formmail6.html hvor du kan view source.
Jeg vil gerne have emailen sendt til info@langlauf.co.uk saa jeg har sat 'langlauf.co.uk' ind i iopost.pl som ligger paa addressen www.thedoughco.com/cgi-bin/form/iopost.pl

Det er lykkedes mig at aendre i den ved at rename osv.
Har proevet hej..php og .asp og ingen af dem virker ser det ud til. Den kommer op med en download box i stedet. Men lige nu er jeg mere interesseret i at bare faa en email igennem hvis det er muligt?

Hvis både php og asp filen ikke vil compile, men i stedet begynder download, understøtter dit webhotel ingen af delene (Det er meget dårligt af et webhotel)

Anyway. Du skal ikke rette i cgi filen. Du skal sende den parametre i stedet for :) Check dette link:

Man sender de parametre (så som "hvor skal mailen hen" osv.) med formen til scriptet. Hvis dit "(# rådne #)" - sorry... webhotel understøttede PHP eller ASP kunne jeg skrive en skræddersyet mailer til dig på en halv time, men du bliver nødt til at gå ud fra hvad du har. Så det skal fungere med denne. Hvad du gør med de hidden values på dit link:

Er fuldstændig rigtigt. Der skal ikke pilles i CGI filen (sorry hvis jeg siger det ret ofte ;)

...læs lidt på mit link, og se om du kan få det til at virke :) ellers så skriv hvilke problemer du støder på. Vi kan sagtens få det til at virke, hvis dit webhotel lader dig køre CGI scriptet (men de har vel stillet det til rådighed)

Og GODT NYTAAR...
har faaet det til at fungere nu!!
Det var min iopost.pl som de havde 'glemt' at saette til executable.
Det er ikke mit webspace, en af mine engelske venner.
Men de siger at webhotel ligger paa linux og understoetter PHP?

For at checke det skal jeg kun skrive  dette i en fil og kalde den hej.php

eller skal der stadig vaere de almindelige html koder som head og body osv?
du faar mine point nu dog...tusinde tak for hjaelpen.
Men vil gerne lige have den sidste med at checke om navnet er udfyldt og email addressen er udfyldt og ligner noget der er en lovlig email addresse.
